Pictured Rocks 2025

Join a crew of older Scouts backpacking along Lake Superior’s scenic lakeshore in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore backcountry offers opportunities for physical challenge, solitude, and inspiration. The North Country National Scenic Trail passes through the 42-mile long national park and runs adjacent to Lake Superior offering beautiful scenic views of the largest of the Great Lakes. Backcountry camping is available at 14 small campgrounds and several group camps, which our Troop will be utilizing along our 6 day/5 night backpacking trek this summer.
