A Scout is Helpful
Service to others is central to the Scout Oath and Scout Law. We participate in several service oriented activities throughout the year to give back to our community and help others in need.
Community Service
Scouts demonstrate the Scout Oath and Law by participating in various community service projects in our local area. This helps demonstrate our duty to God and Country by helping the citizens that live in our community.
Scouting For Food
Every November we participate in the annual Michigan Crossroads Council Scouting For Food Drive which supports local food banks, helping them provide food to families in need in southeast Michigan.
Ecology Conservation
We participate in various service projects aimed at conserving our natural outdoor environments. We help preserve trails and walking paths in various parks around our community. We also participate in annual service projects at both D-Bar-A Scout Ranch and Cole Canoe Base.
